Full Wash and Decontamination

We start with a thorough two-bucket wash to remove all loose dirt and grime. Then we apply an iron fallout remover and clay bar treatment to pull out bonded contaminants sitting in the clear coat. The surface has to be completely clean before anything else happens.

Paint Inspection and Correction

Under inspection lighting, we check the full paint surface for swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. Depending on your package, we carry out a polish or full paint correction at this stage. Ceramic coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so the paint needs to be right first.

Panel Wipe and Surface Prep

Before coating goes on, every panel is wiped down with a panel prep solution to remove all polish residue, oils, and dust. This ensures the ceramic bonds directly to the clear coat and not to any contaminants left on the surface.

Ceramic Coating Application

The coating is applied panel by panel in a controlled environment using professional applicator cloths. Each layer is worked in, levelled, and allowed to flash before the next coat goes on. Most jobs take between one and two full days. A basic package on a vehicle in good condition can be done in a day. If paint correction is needed first, expect two days. We will confirm the timeframe when we assess your vehicle during the quote process.
A professionally applied ceramic coating typically lasts two to five years depending on the product used, the number of layers, and how well the vehicle is maintained. With proper care and annual maintenance washes, the coating performs well throughout its lifespan.
Ceramic-coated vehicles are easier to keep clean but they still need regular washing. Use a pH-neutral car shampoo, avoid automatic brush car washes, and rinse the car down regularly. An annual ceramic boost or maintenance wash helps keep the hydrophobic properties performing at their best.
