A single stage correction typically takes 3 to 5 hours. A two-stage correction is usually 5 to 8 hours. A full multi-stage correction on a larger vehicle can take a full day or more. You will get an accurate time estimate with your quote so you can plan ahead.
The correction itself is permanent in the sense that the defects have been physically removed. However, new swirl marks and scratches will develop again over time through normal use and washing. Applying a ceramic coating immediately after correction protects the finish and significantly extends how long the car stays looking corrected.
